Arnold’s Factory Supplies was incorporated in 1933 and began as a manufacturer of liquid, cold seal adhesives used for many applications including box closure and general bonding applications. In addition, the company also manufactured inks for marking and coding used almost exclusively for packaging.
In the mid 1940’s, as the packaging market continued to grow, the company invested in machinery and equipment to manufacture wood and corrugated shipping containers in an effort to diversify its offering to the Mid-Atlantic region. Relationships with major, local manufacturers such as Westinghouse, General Electric and Bethlehem Steel propelled Arnold’s to the forefront of Baltimore packaging companies.
In the early 60’s, as manufacturers began establishing distribution channels for their products, Arnold’s Factory Supplies partnered with the 3M Company and officially joined the packaging distribution industry.
Since then, Arnold’s has joined forces with the premier manufacturers of packaging materials in the world including Sealed Air, Signode, Orion, and Autobag.
